Hi Vijay,
Attached screen shot shows the role selection screen .
It has following parameters to search a Role.
1.System
2.Select the Tye of Access
3.Application area
4.Business Process
5.Subprocess
6.Role/Profile/Group name
7.Role/Profile/Group description
8.Functional area
9.Company
Pls check whether all the attributes are correctly maintained in CUP for the role you are searching.
If for example : say you are Business Process is ABC while searcing the role and if its not maintained in CUP under Configuration-->Roles then you will get this error. Make sure right search parameters are selected while searcing the role.
Get back for any queries.

Rohini Joshi

Hi Vijay,
Did you recently upgrade to any SP level or patch ? If yes, plese ensure that the .xml files are uploaded corresponding to the level.
Additonally, please check you are not trying to search the roles on any wrong criteria, eg Business process, company etc.
Also, please see the connection to ECC connector is up and running.
Hope this would be helpful.
Best Regards,

Hi Vijay,
From the configuration tab search for the role and if it is available check it status. If it is enable or enable and provision and you are not finding it during request creation, please check if the search attributes you are selecting during role search are creating any issue.
If possible please share the error screenshot.
Regards,
Madhu.
