problem during ops$ user creation

Hi experts,

As i have restored the data on quality system from production system. But now I am facing problem during OPS$ user creation.

When I am running the user creation command as per note 50088 it is showing table space 'PSAPUSER1D'  does not exist.

looking for your responses.

Hi,

I have given the table space name as "psapsr3" during ops$ user creation and the it works fine.

Hi,

But you should create the user using this table space depending on the release..

  • The tablespace <user_tsp> is used when you create new objects if you do not specify an explicit tablespace name. In connection with R/3, this is almost never the case. Therefore, you can specify any tablespace. Proposal:

         R/3 4.6D or lower:  <user_tsp> = PSAPUSER1D
            R/3 6.10 or higher:  <user_tsp> = PSAP<sid>USR

Make sure you drop the old schema and user.

Check whether the tablespace PSAPSR3USR is present in the system.

If yes make that the default tablespace in the script and create the OPS$ users.

Or create the OPS$ users manually.

Hi,

Why toy are getting the issue because of the wrong table space as suggested earlier.
