or we can tag mic with equipment as we tag characteristics in particular equipment code....????

Not possible to tag MIC as same way as characteristics.

You can link MIC to equipment through Equipment task list.

MIC & Task List are different master data. MIC will be assigned to task list either equipment task list or general task list.

There is no equipment specific MIC. MIC can be common across multiple equipments.

but how it is possible because it is not possible for user to create task list and maintenance plan everytime when he wants to calibrate equipment... is it possible through control key...qm01 to qm04.. kindly share

Its possible to create Inspection lot without maintenance plan. But, in manual PM order, that specific task list should be selected.

Control key will not have any control over Inspection lot creation.

Go to IW31, create order as normal. Instead of mentioning the operations manually, you have the option of selecting the task list through Extras - Task List Selection - To reference object / general. Many links are available for these queries.

Please search once in forum.

Equipment characteristics are different from Master Inspection characteristics. Read basic SAP help documents on these.

as KD said, it is possible to create a calibration order (other types also) with Task list to be fetched manually. this task list should be assigned with Master Inspection Characteristics.
