Hi Experts,

I have scheduled a multi - step job via SAP CPS to R/3 system.

The job completed successfully in CPS but i am unable to see the job in ECC. Can someone please suggest me any extra parameter needs to be maintained at the job definition level?

Please suggest further for any additions or corrections.

Thanks in Advance,

Hi Vishal,

You should be able to locate those jobs unless you set the 'Delete Job' parameter to 'Y' on the job definition (CPS side).

Hi Carpentar,

The parameter 'Delete job when Finished' is set to No while defining the job. We are not maintaining the Delete job parameter at the job definition level.

Thanks,

Hey Vishal,

I just want to cover the basic checks.

  1. You mentioned mutli-step job - do you mean a CPS job chain created from Redwood? or a multi-step job imported from ECC?
  2. If it is a job chain created from Redwood, you will not see the jobs as steps under a single job in SM37, each step in job chain will be a separate job in SM37. In short, each step of a job chain is not the same as steps of job created in SM36.
  3. Sometimes, the CPS job name is different from the SAP job name(this is one of the job definition parameters in CPS for ABAP jobs), so can you please check whether you are checking for the SAP job name in SM37?
  4. If the job completed successfully, are you able to see the log in CPS?
  5. Can you list all the completed jobs in SM37 and check against the job start time in CPS with ECC?

thanks
