HCM organization structure data load into BI

Hi Experts,

I'm looking forward your help and guidence here. We are building up reports in BI. We have to replicate similar authorizations as ECC in BI.

When I have looked into BI systems tables HRP1001, I don't see any. How these Org.Structure data can be loaded in to BI system?

Does following infoobjects does this job? If these get activiated, can we be able to see data in HRP tables. Will i be able to use RH_STRUC_GET fm in BI system?

Characteristic Organizational Unit (0ORGUNIT)

○ Characteristic Employee (0EMPLOYEE)

○ Characteristic Position (0HRPOSITION)

Appreciate your guidence on how org.structure data from ECC to BW can be load. After loaded how can I read org.structure data?

Your response will be highly appreciated.

    Dear Praveen,

It will be very good if you understand how BW provide solution to ECC functional deisgns and help business .

It is not like that, if you bring HCM orhanisatin data into BW and same ECC tables or FM s(as you quoted HRP1001 tables and FM like RH_STRUC_GET) will move to BI.

BI is all about analytics and warehouse system.

    Coming to your point:

You can bring Org data into BW with respective to HR master data and relavent apllication data.

    HR master:

    0EMPLOYEE

    0PERSON

    0PERS_AREA

    Personnel sun area

    Employee Group,

    Emp.sub Group,

    etc..

You can get Personnel management data like Head count and action data through:

    0HR_PA_1

    0HR_PA-0

    Loaded to 0PA_C01 Cube.

Need to install standerd business content.

Like this you have for all HR modules:

    0HR_PY_1- Payroll data -- 0PY_C01

    0hr_pt_2-Actual Time and Labor Time

    0HR_PE_1 Attendance

    0HR_PE_2 Cancellation

    0HR_PE_3 Resource Reservation

    0HR_PA_CM_1 Compensation Adjustments

0HR_PA_CM_2 Master Data with Payment Informat

    0HR_PA_CM_3 Awards - grantings

    0HR_PA_CM_4 Awards - Exercising

    0HR_PA_CM_5 Awards - Due Dates

    0HR_PA_CM_6 Awards - Nullifications

    0HR_PA_CM_7 Awards - Stock Prices

    0HR_PA_CM_8 Cost Planning Data

    0HR_PA_BN_1 Benefits

    0HR_PA_2 HR Structural Authorizations- Values

0HR_PA_3 HR Structural Authorizations - Hierarchies

    0HR_PA_PD_1 Qualifications

    0HR_PA_PD_2 Appraisals

    Best wishes, Vijay

Here in BI data will be maintained in the form of data source.

How these Org.Structure data can be loaded in to BI system?

    By creating View/ F.M. Before creating view/ F.m

First Check Standard data sources either available in BI or not for that Table HRP1001.

How you can check means just search in google as HCM data sources help.sap.com not only for HCM For all other modules you can search in Help.sap.com

Here we will get all information including Fields and tables that are associated to Data sources.

For more detail info SAP Library - Organizational Management

Note : First need to have ECC Fields Information, based on this IOBJS we can select.

      Hi Praveen,

As stated by Vijay, below datasources gives you the values which are configured in the ECC system, but some customizations are done then need to go for generic extractor.

      0HR_PA_2 HR Structural Authorizations- Values

0HR_PA_3 HR Structural Authorizations - Hierarchies

      Regards,

      Ganesh
