Hi,

your error CONVERSION_EXIT_CUNIT_INPUT simply means that there is no unit CS contained in your system. Note that the BW expects the unit depending on your logon language if you have the conversion exit CUNIT entered in your transfer structure. To find the correct unit look into table T006A. The field MSEH3 contains the language dependent currency. If the unit CS is missing you should try to take over the units from your R/3 system (right click on your source system and choose 'Transfer Global Settings'.

As I mentioned in my previous post, this is nothing to do with the mapping. So do not change the transfer structure or delete the InfoObject. Simply put LB or KG or some common unit in the flat file and it will fly.

Hope this helps...

Thanks a lot bhanu. It did work according to you as i changed all the records of tht feild into EA and i rewarded the points also(by clicking in the left radio button..is tht the way it's done?)..I had CS in tht feild so there it was breaking. It did work but most imp. is if u dont mind can u explain me breifly what exactly does this mean?what is conversion and what is CS and EA stand for?

Almost everyone who goes through that exercise faces the same problem. I think the author meant Case when he put in CS, but CS is not valid in B. You an only load for those units that are maintained in the system. EA stands for Eaches and is recognised. That's why it worked when you loaded EA.

About points: Yes this is the way you assign points. You can assign three levels of points: 2 (yellow) for helpful answer, 6 (green) for very helpful answer and 10 (blue) in case the answer solved your issue. The blue star indicates that the problem has been resolved. You can take a look at many other threads for examples. It is really not necessary to assign points, but as it is well said: Its just a way to say thanks to those who helped you

Good luck to you!

Hi bhanu,

What does your file have in the unit column for values in different records...does it say 0UNIT? The unit needs to be one recognised by BW, else it will give errors.

Hope this helps...

My file has CS,CS,CS,EA under the 0unit column ..and i have transferred succesfully in my transfer rules this feild.i see 0unit in the left side of my transfer rules.I checked this with the BW as i searched in the binocular button and then selceted 0unit ..

So,where did i do the mistake..?

Thanks

Hi,

There is not a problem with the mapping, but with the value. Is this a practise exercise from the Fu book? If your purpose is to try out the data load process, then I would suggest you to change the file and replace the CS unit.
