Settlement rule is not coming automatically

Dear SAP Experts,

I am facing an issue, While making AUC after creating WBS, system is not creating settlement rule, although the settlement rule Strategy & assignment to project profile is done in config.

HI Pankaj,

While executing the settlement through CJ88.

Please select (check) the box, "With Hierarchy and with order".

Hi Pankaj,

Go to the settlement Profile and set default object type "WBS". Then run CJ88 Transaction.

May be it's work.

HI Pankaj,

AuC is created when WBS accounting is released but it is only entered in the settlement rule when the WBS is settled the first time.

If the asset is created the WBS has a status AUC,Could ypu check if one of the accounting WBS has status AUC?

IF yes, you have the asset ( check in table ANLA)

IF not, you are riight and something is not correct.

Hi Clara/Nag, i am showing you the config settings & the process which we are doing,

We have created a WBS & Assigned the investment profile to it, now after releasing WBS, the system status of wbs becomes AUC, now thru, FB60, we are incurring cost on WBS. when we check, in the CJI3 the cost is there on WBS, but when we go to the WBS & Settlement rule icon, the automatic settlement rule is not getting created.

Is there anything which i am missing in this process ?

Hi Pankaj,

first execute the settlement in txn CJ88 for that WBS element. system creates the settlement rule automatically for that wbs element based on the investment profile settings.

Check option of Settlement setting for Network for automatic settlement rule strategy

AUC mange check box should be marked.

check OPUV transaction here maintain the strategy 01 and default rule as PS1

CJB1 is the transaction where you can get as your expectation auto settlement.

Hi Nag,

In CJ88 when I am executing the settlement its showing the message "Either the sender is already settled,or there is nothing to settle". But when I check the CJI3 there is cost incurred to the WBSE.

Hello,

1. Make sure the cost in CJI3 is not the statistical cost.

2. Assure that you are running settlement for the same period and year where in the cost was occured.

3. you may also discuss with CO guy on it.

Hi Sanjeev,

In automatic settlement rule strategy the manage AUC check box is marked as well as the default rule is set as PS1.

When I generate settlement rule it execute without error,but when i check the detail list it contains no data.

As you said you have execute settlement transaction and again you want to see the details with re-executing settlement transaction. then how it is possible to show details?

for this you  need to do some actual posting to concern wbs then do settlement with marked details check box.

when i check the detail list it contains no data.

system is proper intimating like there are nothing for settlement. (detail list it contains no data)

Do as suggested and let me know....

Hi Pankaj,

Execute WBS settlement for the same period, where the actual cost was posted. if this is not working, then create a new WBS and follow the same process as suggested.

Hi Pankaj,

if you want system to create automatic settlement rule to AUC, then configure the dummy investment profile in txn OITA and check manage AUC indicator. Assign investment profile to project profile. In cj20n assign the investment profile to the require WBS element. Release the WBS and post actual cost. Execute settlement in CJ88, settlement rule with AUC receiver created automatically in background and actual will be settled to AUC.
