Heya all,

can anyone plz tell me why i am getting this error.i am not able to understand at all.In bw server i tried an example.and when i try to preview the data in the infopackage i get this error.it doesnt allow me to scehudle also..

Error in conversion exit CONVERSION_EXIT_CUNIT_INPUT

Message no. RSAR137

Diagnosis

An error occurred in record 1 during execution ofconversion exit CONVERSION_EXIT_CUNIT_INPUT for field UNIT.

Procedure

Check that the record where the error occurred has the correct format, and correct it accordingly.

in my data selection tab i have these 4 feilds.

Customerid IO_CUSTID

sales representative IO_SREPID

Material no: IO_MATID

calendar day CALDAY

immediate help is appreciated.

Check the record if it has valid UNIT in it. Normally this error occurs if the Unit is wrong.

Have your last problem resolved.

Hi RB,

where should i check?in my flat file?I have only 1 key fogure Sales Quantity which is of type Quantity and unit of measure is 0unit.And in my flat file i have no:1 to 10 under the feild sales quantity.

What about unit? Are you passing the unit from flat file of updating it in transfer rules. Every quantity should have a unit. Pass value for 0Unit.

Hi Rohit,

as i said I have key figure sales quantity which is 0unit(unit of measure).And it is present in my transfer rules.both the 0unit and sales quantity and it is in the same format as it is in my csv file.I mean the feilds name matches the one those are in transfer rules.

But i still get this error.I tried changing ounit,i searched for ounit(binocular button) and selected 0unit.But still it gives me the same error.

Can u plzz tell me how can i reward points as i am new to all this.

Hi,

Are you passing some value from flat file for the UOM i.e. EA, PC, CT, etc. For example if Sales Quantity is 10 then what is its unit. I think this is missing in your input file or the unit which you are passing is not valid in BW system. Try to see data in preview mode and see what unit it shows here.

Thanks for the help. I tried but can anyone please explain me what exactly does this error mean?what is conversion?and what is Unit of sales?

My last prooblem still didn't get resolved it still says partner profile not activated.

This verifies whether the unit enterd is a valid unit or not. it look for unit in table T006A.
