Hi..

Under 0CURTYPE characteristic we have several currencies with their respective values.

I am little confused what is the meaning of these terms?

Can anyone explain the difference b/w Group/Object/Company/Transaction/Document Currencies?

    Hello Sai,

SAP supports multiple currencies as you know.

Document currency is the currency of the original document - e.g. invoice, sales order, etc.

Transaction currency - the currency in which the transaction is recorded (typically the currency of the entity).

Company code currency is the currency of the company.

Object - relates to cost centres / controlling.

Group is the currency for conolidations (where you have several companies in different countries with different currencies).
