Inserting one report below the other

Hie Guys,

I have a requirement where I want to insert a query from Universe 2 below the query from Universe 1, so that it looks as if they both are in a single report. Both queries have the same column names. I tried using the "Format Table" properties and selected "Start on a new page - Vertical/Horizontal". However, when I export the report as PDF, there is a blank page inserted after each page. Can anyone tell me what is the correct way to achieve this in Webi 4.0? I have attached the snapshots below. Thanks.

Hide the header row from univer 2 based table block and make the universe 1 table and report 2 table with relative position...

even you can try with a union of the query in the query panel and add the universe 1 query union with universe 2 query Which will allow all the rows in one query..

That worked for me. This is the one I was working on for a while. I was making it complicated by merging objects from both universes , but could not get correct values for the measures because it involved a variable for "Char" objects. I'm sure we could have figured out the other way, but this way its a lot simpler. Thanks a lot.

Hi Jeevan,

I assume that you are looking to show those two tables as a single table(one table below other).  Please do the following steps.

select the second table > go to its table properties > uncheck the option show headers for that table > go to relative position > set its relative position zero w.r.to bottom edge of first table

Hope this helps..!!!

Thanks,

Bala
