I have configured a Distribution By Keys From Sender to Recipient planning function in my BW 3.5 BPS planning environment. The function distributes the amounts for all cost elements of a given cost center to the cost element S8000000 in a set of receiver cost centers based on fixed portions established for each receiver cost center.
The function works perfectly as I would expect on the receiver side of things. However, I've noticed something on the sender side that I'd like done differently. I've noticed that it credits (reduces) the value of each sending cost element according to the amount posted to that cost element. What I'd like for the function to do is to post the credit only to the cost element S8000000 on the sending cost center. That way, users can still run queries and exclude the S* cost element to see the original value on the sender cost center.
Can anyone suggest a way to either: a) configure the Distribution function to achieve this result; b) configure a FOX formula to do this; or c) configure an EXIT planning function to do this; or d) something else I haven't considered.
Thank you,
John
