Portal Development Plan Items

Dear Experts

In the back end development plan - there was an option to add appraisals, courses ect a development plan items.

On the Talent Management Portal - there are only two development activities:

1. Adding a Course

2. Adding free text

Is there an option to make a person appraisal also part as a development activity?

Hi Rajesh,

No there is not, since the Development Plan in the Portal is for a different process (Talent and not Performance). The form is fixed as is and cannot be enhanced. See this blog for more info:

Thanks for your feedback and the useful information in your blog.

We are working with a client that makes use of an "Assessment and Progression" scheme that involves a combination of development items, classroom training, e-learning, on-the-job training and then also several practical assessments by the line supervisors. We have a need to administer/record/monitor/update all these activities in one place taking into account that supervisors are not core/frequent SAP users and need to complete the assessments(appraisals) on SAP
