Transaction Launcher launched in a new window, does not capture events raised on the new window.

Hi,

We have a transaction launcher configured to call an ECC BOR method in a new window. This transaction is being called by a work centre link. Currently, when we test this in IE9, the BOR method which eventually calls a custom transaction in ECC is called successfully. But on that new window, if I try to raise any events, like Execute or back, nothing happens. We tried the same thing with IE8 and it worked fine. I also tried by launching the transaction in the same window in IE9 and it worked fine.

The problem is we need the transaction to be launched in a new window, on IE9. We are testing on EHP3. It is a pretty confusing behavior. Any suggestions on why we are facing this issue and how to resolved it would be very helpful!

Hello Ridhima,

Test the behaviour of the transaction you are launching  in standalone SAP GUI for HTML. Is this same bahviour observed?

How to test ?
