PR not getting transferred from r/3 to srm 7.0 in classic scenario

Hello Gurus,

I am not able to transfer PR from R/3 to SRM 7.0 Ehp2 .

Regarding all the configurations I have maintained from this link

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/802a11ff-efc9-2b10-ee93-c9c9fbae4...

Still I am not able to transfer. Now what am I missing in this configuration. Why I am not able to transfer PR from R/3 to SRM .As I don't have PI so I am trying to transfer through RFC which I already created in R/3 as well as in SRM. Also in R/3 I have activated the business function LOG_MM_P2PSE_1.And in srm side I have activated SRM_SOURCING_1 , SRM_SOURCING_2 , SRM_SUCO_1 , SRM_SERVICE_PROC_1 , SRM_WSRM_1, SRM_SELF_SERVICE_1 and FND_SOA_REUSE_1.. Now as I don't have PI and SRM SUS. So the configuration has been made based on that. Now still after maintaining all the settings why the PR not getting transferred.

Thanks

Gaurav

Check these as well :

Check the PR, in ECC table EBAN field EPROFILE

PR’s will be marked as procurement in external in above table.

Check you have not activated the business function Log-MM-P2PSE-1 in ECC.

Above document is valid only for RFC based external requirements transfer (ECC 6.0 EHP3) also valid EHP4 and above as far as you are not activated the business function.

Also check if the PR is stopped in WF anywhere .

Please check the settings in http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-2721, in case if you are doing first time.

http://scn.sap.com/community/srm/shopping-cart-and-catalog/blog/2013/02/23/pdp-issue--pr-is-not-gett...

Which scenario are you working with Plan Driven Procurement ?

Is this the 1st time you are trying to transfer the PR or it has been transferred previously  ?

Hello Vinita ,

We are not with PDP , we are with material/ service procurement . and yes I have activated the business function Log-MM-P2PSE-1 in ECC.

Shall I deactivate that business function.

Thanks

Hello Vinita Kasliwal,

I have seen the doc this is for PDP but as I mentioned we are not with PDP , we are with Service/Material Procurement. And do I have to deactivate the business function.

Thanks

Yes please can you deactivate that once and check are you using hierarchies form my understanding it is only useful when we use hierarchies

DID you try all this as below ?

Activate event type linkages for external sourcing

1.Run transaction SWETYPV in SAP ERP system.

2.Ensure that the following entries are present:

Basic Settings for Service Procurement Classic

3.If they are not present then copy the entry for event ‘Created’ for object type ‘BUS2105’ and Receiver Type ‘WS53800009’ and change the event name.

NOTE˛ Workflow event RFXREQUESTED is used to trigger XML message while creating SAP SRM RFx from Collective Processing of Purchase Requirements (CPPR).˛

Workflow event SOURCINGREQUESTED is used to trigger an XML message while transferring the Purchase Request (PR) as an external requirement to SAP SRM Sourcing.˛bRw˵ If you do not see XML messages getting created, verify that stepsare properly configured.

In order to ensure correct XML transfer between SAP ERP and SAP SRM, you must register queue MMPURS_BUS2105_* using transaction SMQR.

Integration with Other mySAP.com Components>> Supplier Relationship Management>> Message Control>> Activate outbound messages through qRFCEnsure

Ensure that following entries are present:

Object         Type  Event  Tech

BUS2105        RFXREQUESTED     queued Remote Function Call

BUS2105        SOURCINGREQUESTED queued

Oh thats sad

Can you provide additional details would like to understand if the PR is stuck in ECC or it is out from ECC and not seen in SRM ?

-For which can you ensure that PR is not stuck in Awaiting approval status ?

- RFC destinations are all set

- Backend system defined in technical basic settings .

And also check the below steps :

1. Go to Customizing for SAP Supplier Relationship Management under SRM ServerCross-Application Basic SettingsService ProcurementActivate Service Procurement to assign a hierarchy template to the RFx transaction type. SAP delivers two hierarchy templates. The template HIER_SE should be assigned to RFx transaction types used to process external service requests transferred from Materials Management in SAP ERP. The template HIER_SRM is used in RFx transaction types to process local RFxs, that is, RFxs created without reference to SAP ERP requests. Select the Show Indent checkbox to show indentation in hierarchies in the SAP SRM system.

2.Go to Customizing for SAP Supplier Relationship Management under SRM ServerCross-Application Basic SettingsConfigurable Item NumberingDefine Configurable Item Numbering Scheme to assign

a configurable item number to the relevant RFx transaction types. By default, number ranges for six levels (D1 to D6) are given as ‘Rule ID’ in section Rules of the dialog structure. You assign the relevant Rule ID to an RFx transaction type in section Rule Assignment for Item Levels.

3.Go to Customizing for SAP Supplier Relationship Management under SRM ServerSourcingDefine Sourcing for Product Categories to ensure that the sourcing strategy for product categories used in service procurement is maintained as Sourcing always carried out.

4.Go to Customizing for SAP Supplier Relationship Management under SRM ServerTechnical Basic SettingsDefine System Landscape to ensure that the field System Alias f. POWL Navigation is filled with the corresponding system aliases for the SAP ERP and SAP SRM systems in the SAP NetWeaver Portal landscape, and that you select Integrated UI for the SAP SRM and SAP ERP systems.

6.Implement Business Add-In BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS if you plan to connect multiple back-end systems to SAP SRM and if you want to create back-end contracts as follow-on documents from sourcing. You must implement this Business Add-In to determine the back-end system in which contracts must be created.

Hello Vinita Kasliwal,

Even I am also low when I came to know there is no PI , no ROS , no SUS required.

Now , we just implemented SRM 7.0 Ehp2 with Classic Scenario -> Service Procurement. We also implemented the Portal system which is UP now . So for testing we just tried to create one PR and transfer it. When I executed the Report in SE38 BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER . the result was 0. Then I checked whether PR is released or not , but it was released . Later on I checked whether I missed some configuration  apart from the configuration you mentioned but everything was fine. If you could provide me your mail id then I could send the configuration in word format .

But still the PR is not getting transferred . I have maintained the RFC connection between ERP and SRM and also Maintained in my ORG root as Local RFC. Still why it is not transferring.

Also took reference from  this link

Thanks

Hello Vinita,

   Sure I will .

The configuration which you mentioned I did that configuration and also I activated the business functions which I missed out in R/3 which I saw with the thread which I mentioned. After that we restarted the R/3 Server and then both Service as well as Material PR got transferred. Also I would mention that the queue which you told to register as MMPURS_BUS2105_* would be registered as MMPUR_BUS2105* .

Again I would like to thank you for your help. And it was nice working with you. I also mailed you my issues . You can have a look .

Thanks

Can you run the report BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER and paste the result here . Once done it would show how many PR it transferred if it transferred correctly and you are still not able to see check the outbound queue in ECC and inbound in SRM and check if entries are stuck there if yes double click in the entry click on activate , refresh and it should work !

Hello Vinita Kasliwal,

When I tried to run the report its giving value 0 as no pr is getting transferred. As per the configuration it should transfer , in my case its not getting transferred. What might be the case.As I said we are in classic scenario , and I am trying to transfer PR from R/3 to SRM. Also would like to say that I have maintained the same number range for PR in R/3 as well as in SRM. Also after running the report , I am not finding any data stuck in smq1 or smq2

Thanks

Ok did you run the report previously also in which case it would say '0' documents transferred .
If yes check the queues as mentioned and see if it is stuck there . if you did not run the report we have to look for something else .
