Buisness Promcess monitoring on SOlman 7.1

Good Morning Experts

i have activate the monitoring object in Solman but i noticed that when job log in the mnaged system is reporting the foloowing 'eror'

No Open monid found for the application monitoring data collection

i checked in solman and i regenerated the object and reactivated but i still get the same entry for the job BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1

can i get some help please

Which ST-A/PI does your management system have ?

If it is ST-A/PI Q SP2, I suspect SAP Note 1946940 (Issue #2 indicates IDoc monitor issue).

if it is normal ST-A/PI Q, or Q SP1, Note 1823650 is better to be implrmented.

Maybe you can also verify, if other application monitor like sales order monitor, purchase order monitor works in background mode, the issue related to IDoc monitor only. If other monitor also does not work, then something going wrong with framework (or authorization of managed system).

Hi Ravi,

What kind of monitoring object have you configured? If in the configuration you didn't mark that the data collection is supposed to happen via background job and the collection doesn't take longer than I think 5 minutes then it is collected directly via RFC call, therefore you will not see any details in the BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1 job. You can check it in the monitoring schedule tab - option "Data Collection in Background".

firstly i have setup a monitoring object for Idoc monitoring

i have since checked the monitoring schedule and i do have the check on for data in the background

please help
