SAP Content server OS migration

Hi Dear All,

We have installed SAP DMS contect server 6.40 with MaxDB 7.6 on IBM AIX system.

We are migrating our all SAP servers from IBM AIX to HP-Unix.

Please guide me to migrate the Content server.

Please provide if available any related document.

Hello Kashinath,

For content server migration, you have to follow below steps.

1. install new content server on target box.

2. Create the new content repository on your new content server.

3. Create the new content category.

4. If using distribution, distribute the new documents to the new category. otherwise change redirected category for DMS_C1_ST

5. Relocate using the program RSIRPIRL.
