Hi Guys,

We upgraded our BW system from 7.0 To 7.4.

After the upgrade i tried Generating a query in RSUDO but i am encountering this following error messages.

Subfield access (offset = 0, length = 2) to a data object of size 1 outside valid limits.

An exception with the type CX_SY_RANGE_OUT_OF_BOUNDS occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING

>> Row: 153 Inc: LRSEC_CHECKSF02 Prog: SAPLRSEC_CHECKS

Please let me know  if anyone encountered this kind of error message and managed to resolve this issue

Thanks in Advance.

Jose Mich

if possible try to reduce the number which your pass and try check it out. mean while try to run your report at RSRT and see how it goes.

Hi Jose,

check your RKF or CKF or char info object which are into rows. you

may need to check your query designer level. they may be restricted to some values. those are exceeding.

Thanks

Hi Raman,

As per checking there is no restricted to some values/ or exceeding. do you have other idea where to check?

Thanks in advance,

Joseph

better to recheck your all key fig and Char definition query level. some where you can find it.

Check thru all objects which are used a query designer level.

as you said at RSRT working fine, after that have you tried to run at bex level. try to run and check it once.

Hi Jose Mich,

Check offset lengh in the selections you defined for date objects (0fiscper,0calmonth etc.,)

This might causes the problem....

Thanks,

Keep offset length as 1 in your query and try to regenerate it.
