First all I welcome you to the niche module in sap functional side which is SAP HCM
Good that you know te theoretical part, now let me give you in brief how these two switches brings life to HCM
The two switches can be activated in Table T77S0 by plotting X
The "PLOGI ORGA" activates integration between Organizational Management and Personnel Administration via Organizational assignment
Integration between PA and OM is indeed vital because
You are using Personnel Administration and want to implement Organizational Management for the first time.
You are using Organizational Management and want to implement Personnel Administration for the first time.
You want to implement both components for the first time.
Now let me take an example :
A person is to be transferred from the position of Asst.Manager to Senior Manager. As soon as this transfer is carried out in Organizational Management, the corresponding change is made for the person in the "Organizational assignment" infotype (0001) in Personnel Administration.
After you created position in OM and hire an employee on this position all objects that you defined for the position will automatically "moved" to HR master data
The PLOGI PRELI is a switch to default the position as 9999999.
Now lets take a situation wherein there i no position exist but without a position we cannot go ahead .so 999999 depicts a dummy position which can be achieved only through PLOGI PRELI
Hope this clarifies your query, or else free feel to touch base
Best Regards
Anil
