Converting character to measure MySQL

Hie Guys,

I need to convert a "Character" object to a "Measure" in UDT 4.0. The data source for the Universe is "MySQL". Now, I have already tried using both "CAST" & "CONVERT" functions. Both times, the parsing was Ok. But, when I use the object in Web Intelligence, the values are "Zero" values. If I leave the object as a "Char" Dimension in UDT, the values are coming out good. Its only when I convert it to a measure, I get "zeros" in all the cells that had values when it was a "Char" dimension. Can anyone suggest me how to resolve this issue? I've posted the snapshots of the formulas and the values below. Thanks.
