Long description for 0CALMONTH in text variable

Dear Gurus,

I read a lot of posts and it looks like it is not possible to get the long description of 0CALMONTH using a text variable. But, I did not find any documentation from SAP explaining that...neither any OSS note...

Is the user exit the only option we have ? Or did any one of you manage to find a workaround ??
