Essbase Dynamic Time series in IDT

Hello,

According to IDT product guides it supports Dynamic Time series functions, but I don't see any functions while creating dimensions in the universe,Basically I have to replicate FR reports in the business objects by hitting the essbase cubes directly, these FR reports have lot of YTD,QTD,YTG calculations which I need to recreate using business Objects.

Any thoughts regarding this, if you know the syntax for calculating qtd and ytd's please share the information.

Have you created a new objects ib business layer using  MDX function like  YTD , QTD ?

Basically IDT allows you just to leverage these function directly in your universe object to create the dynamic time series objects.. IDT does not create these objects automatically..

I tried to create objects but I see that I can only create a Dimensions using YTD() or QTD(), It does not parse if I create a measure. Have create any simillar calculations ? please share the syntax.

I was using YTD( Time dimension, Measure) --- It did not work

I have not used a DTS measure yet.. also I do not have a Essbase to test out so could not provide a working syntax..

Also as far as I know Dynamic time series is not supported with measures yet... I will suggest to check with SAP support for details when it will be available
