ASU toolbox step during SAP GATEWAY 2.0 Upgrade using SUM tool

Hi Guys,

I am getting this step of ASU toolbox while trying to upgrade SAP GATEWAY 2.0 using SUM tool.I went through the SAP note 1000009 . Also I went to tcode /n/ASU/UPGRADE and got a list of notes.Is it obligatory to implement all these notes?
