Confusion over Design Studio - Application

Dear Experts,

I am having a client requirements over Design Studio.

Scenario 1:

My client is having a BW system, and want to do reporting over design studio, without the use of BOBJ Server in between since its possible to connect BW with design studio, is it possible to publish the reports made in design studio on BW system directly without the use of BOBJ server ??

Scenario 2:

My client is having a SAP HANA system, and want to do reporting over design studio, without the use of BOBJ Server in between since its possible to connect SAP HANA with design studio, is it possible to publish the reports made in design studio on SAP HANA system directly without the use of BOBJ server ??

If the above scenario is possible, then please guide how to achieve the same. ?
