PREQCR1 Message type for PR Creation

Hi All,

Can i use PREQCR1 message type (with IDoc type PREQCR101) to create an inbound PR.

I tried using BAPI as the process code and the FM is BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1.  But the system is throwing the error

Function module not allowed: BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1

Please let me know, if i used the correct process code. I specifically want to use only PREQCR1 message type.

I have added the BAPI Process code to PREQCR1 through WE42 and used the same process code in partner profile. Please suggest me how to proceed.

Hard to suggest how you shall proceed it is unknown what you have done so far and how your to-be process looks like

From this discussion it is just known that you did a little customizing.

Now you need a program that loads the data, reads the data  and transfers this data to the BAPI.

If you are a good programmer then you may start developing this process directly.

I personally often test such BAPIs that are new to me in LSMW first, to make experience in a comfortable environment.
