IDoc Acknowledgement

Hello,

We have a PI 7.4 Java Only Installation. I wanted to know whether it is possible to send IDoc Acknolwedgments back to SAP ECC in the following scenario: IDoc --> PI --> FTP

I have read through the SAP Help page Configuring Acknowledgments for a Sender IDoc Adapter (AAE) - Advanced Adapter Engine - SAP Library

Is this all I need to do, enter the Ack Destination to our SAP ECC system (on the RFC Parameters tab) and select the tick boxes on the 'Ack Settings' tab?
