new valuation type not calculated during CK40N

Former Member

Hi guru,

I have the following problem

I have a finished product A with a BOM that have just one material B. For material B is active the split valuation with 2 valuation type, X and Y.

Now, I created a new valuation type, Z and assigned it to material B

When I run ck40N for material A, the system calculates prices for material B but only for valuation type blank, X and Y and not for Z

What did I miss in customizing in order to have costs for valuation type Z?

Thanks

Regards

Hi

What Big Choi said seems correct to me...

1. Create a new proc alt - CK91N for Val Type Z

2. Update the Mix Ratios in CK94

3. CK11N

4. CK24

If you are unable to succeed with above steps, then delete the Mix ratios from CK94 first and then the above steps in the sequence mentioned

Hi Rafaele....

If I understood your query clearly, I strongly feel that system will only consider the header material for costing run of material A (that is valuation type blank for material B) and it doesn't consider the materials with valuation types (X, Y or Z for material B).

And I hope we can't create BOM for the in-house manufacturing products (here material A) using material B @ valuation types as quantity structure (we can use only header material).

The reason is these materials @ valuation type levels will not have COSTING tabs at all.

Please correct me if I am wrong..

Hi.

For calculating valuation type Z’s STD cost, you create procurement alternatives using T-CODE ck91 and input mixing ratios using T-CODE ck94.
