Public holiday class

Dear All,

We have created holiday,holiday calender, other configuration & generated work schedulle, after assignment with employee.

while testing we would that public holiday class is missing i.e. not assign

Kindly suggest with appropate path in spro

In another case- we have changed holiday into working day & working day into holiday

after changes in working day into holiday -the eror show

"The selected day is not a holiday"

Time Management >> Work Schedules >> Define Public Holiday Class

This is where you create/modify Public Holidays, Public Holiday Calendars and Factory Calendars.

I suggest that you delete the Public Holiday from the Calendar, modify the Public Holiday so that it is assigned a PH Class, and re-assign that Public Holiday to the Calendar.  Save and create your Workbench transport.

Re-generate all Work Schedules associated with the PH Calendar (thereby creating a Customizing transport).

Can you please provide screenshot of the public holiday configuration?

Also attach the screenshot of the error and T552A table.

Hi Rakesh,

Please go to SE16 and check table T552A. This table contains the details of generated WSRs. Enter the WSR details and the period and check if you can find the Public Holiday Class for the given date.

If you don't find it, it means that the generation didn't happen correctly. Please regenerate the WSR and again check table T552A.

For your question,

Q1: You can check under Time Management >> Work Schedules >> Work Schedule Rules and Work Schedules >> Define Groupings for the Public Holiday Calendar

Q2: Tcode: SCAL. You have to delete the assignment between public holiday in holiday calendar first, then you go to define public holiday and create/edit your public holiday, after that, go back to holiday calendar and re-assign.

Hi,

As suggested by Michael, please follow the path and define the holiday and assign it to the public holiday calendar.

Once the holiday and holiday calendar is set, genereate the work schedule again by using the PT01.

Now it, overwrites the existing work schedules and everything will be fine.

Go to PT03 and verify the work schedule in PT03.

Delete the existing IT0007 record and maintain it again.

Please check the holiday calendar groupings V_001P_H and also the PS & ES groupings  of wrok schedule and time recordings etc...
