Powerbuilder beta : editor hangs when typing ²

I  have activated autocomplete in PB 15 Classic.

When typing ² ( square symbol) as the first character of a line in the script editor, PB15 just hangs... No way to save anything, I have to kill the process.

As this key is just above the tab key on the keyboard, this mistyping is really annoying ...

I also noticed that CPU usage of PB150.exe goes to 25 % ( I use a quad-core PC)

That's true for older versions too.

I remember a coworker who removed this key from its keyboard to solve the problem.

To test this issue out, I first changed to the US international keyboard under Region and Language.

To find the location of the keys, I then went to control panel -> Ease of Access Center -> Start On-Screen Keyboard and then clicked on the Altgr key.

Hi Philip,

Just curious. Is your computer in a special configuration in order to do that? I have to hold down the Alt key and type 253 on the numeric key pad to get ².

I use an AZERTY keyboard. The key with Square and Cube is just above the tab key.
