Hello Community,

i have a similar very mysterious issue with lsmw recording.

Very simple task actually. I want to add short description of material in language EN.

I have 890 materials and initially ~999 had texts in MAKT. (Some already had descr. in EN)

I did my LSMW for the remaining materials which are missing the text in EN.

LSMW runs successful, but only ~300 materials are now actually changed and saved.... I ran and checked everything multiple times. Can anyone help here? See the data and screenshots below.

Thankful for any hints or solutions. Regards Rico

----------

I ran the full remaining materials (779) but only ~280 were actually changed and saved.

Even the foreground process does everything right but does not change the material.

-----------

Update: We had User Exit ZXMG0U02 active and for an interface, a Commit Work Statement made problems when changing Material Master via LSMW - we excluded sy-batch for the relevant code sections.

Hi Lakshmi,

It is authorisation issue.

Put /nsu53 as soon as you have completed updation and get authorisation for the dump.

Hope it solves.

Hi Lakshmi,

Please review your recording.  You might have missed the SAVE option.

Hi,

Check it once again with correct vendor code as if not then it will show in errors list.

Dear Lakshmi,

I think you would have problem in the mapping of the fileds (step 5 in LSMW).

The data conversion is not correct (red area) in the scren shot.

Kindly check the same.

Hope this helps you.
