AET advantages over EEWB

Hi,

iam new sap crm,

I have read through many threads in SCN,but iam unable to make out the exact advantage of AET over EEWB,
Except that AET is integrated with WEBUI,
Can anbody guide me more advantages of AET over EEWB and how it is inter related to different layers in sap crm.

Dear Anil,

From very high level, the following are a few benefits of AET.

1.  The custom field created by AET can be added into search criteria very easily, so based on that field we can perform search operations.

2.  AET does not require much technical knowledge ( to create drop down values in field, add or remove values, etc.,)

3. AET is suitable to more components and objects than EEWB.

main advantage of AET is that it involves less technical involvement while creating any field.

Required code is generated by the wizard for the field,thus much less time needed to create any field than needed for EEWB.

The main difference is the ease of use of AET than EEWB. Even a functional consultant can create fields using AET.
