Did you mean:

"ERROR";"Check Business Object Expression"

Converted Universe to new IDT (.unx format) The obvious changes have been adjusted. When running integrity checker I see handful of errors on the business layer that state,  "ERROR";"Check Business Object Expression""Execution of the expression for business object XXXX' failed. Check the object properties.";"XXXX";

When you view this object it will not parse, gives this error, Query script generation failed. {0} (WIS 00013). Verified joins, data foundation is connected, tried rebuilding it. The odd thing is it will show values fine. The query is just a select column from a table, no fancy sql. Any ideas greatly appreciated?

Check if there is any extra table present for the object which are not working and if there is any extra table then make sure they are pointing to the correct table available in the data foundation..

No extra tables, and correct table is available in the data foundation.

What I actually mean is do you see any extra table (as highlighted in screenshot) for the object which are not parsing

Also try to create a query in the universe using the object that does not parse and see what is the syntax that gets generated.. Or any error it throws out..

Nothing extra or missing there in the screen shot just the one associated table. Were you thinking it would be blank or an extra table would be there?

Also when you try to create a query in the universe it gives, Query script generation failed. {0} (WIS 00013) No other details. Pretty vague.

Hi Stone,

Were you able to resolve your error?I am also getting the same error for all the measures selected.

Yes I actually had to refresh structure a couple of times and I finally realized I had one table that did not detect keys correctly. Once I set the key and refreshed the structure my errors went away. I would check your keys and joins and refresh your structure.

Resolution

  1. Go to Information design tool
  2. Open data foundation
  3. Go to parameters
  4. Check that the parameter : ‘THOROUGH_PARSE’ is set to Yes
  5. Change it to No then click ok ON
  6. Save data foundation

Same issue. For me - only changing length of parameter fixed it.

63 chars with double-quotes is the MAX

"Global"."USER1"."ZQUERYNAME1"."ZTABLENAME123456-PARAMNAME1111"

123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123

HI Leo!

Where exactly did you change the length of the parameter??
