InfoObject 0RSPL_PLSES is not consistent - activate it

Hello Everyone,

while im running the SUM to Update my SCM 7.0 EHP3

i get this Error:

ERROR: Errors occurred during ACTIVATION CHECK. For more information, see the log file of the background job RSUPGRCHECK.MAQ. The following is the content of the summery error log file:

I tried to solve it with this Notes:

But still run into the same Error.

Could anybody help?

Hi

SAP now  has a note for this issue - http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1986745.

If the table entries as per Note  http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1845737  is missing, just run the BI Content install step as mentioned in 1986745 in the BW client for your system.  It is transportable as well to the next systems in the landscape.

Hi all, I had same situation and managed to resolve it after some time.

Start RSA1, probably in client 001, and subsequently activate content version of InfoObject 0RSPL_PLSES and 0RSPL_SUBPL.

After that SUM continues.

Hi All,

I faced the same issue when updating to SPS. I couldn't find any entry in the tables specified in 1845737 - Errors occurred during activation check.

Use transaction SE16 to delete entry from 2 tables in the BW client.

For table RSDCHA, select on CHANM with value 9AITEM_ID. You will get 1 entry. Delete it.

For table RSDCHABAS, select on CHABASNM with value 9AITEM_ID. You will get 1 entry. Delete it.

Any idea how to proceed further? Appreciate if you guys could shed somelight if you'd went thru the issue.

Nicholas, after almost 20 days SAP didn't answer the oss message, so our BI team activated the missing infocubes into SCM and it worked.

I don't know the real impact of this but until know everthing is working...

Much appreciate for your feedback! I've did the same and activated the missing info object and patching currently running in execution phase.

However, i'm forced to assign BW MANDT in order to activate them in RSA1. 20 days without reply from SAP?!!! that's disappointing and sad!!

Yep, We closed the message a few days ago.

They requested some logs and never answer again.

actually after doing the work, the way i fixed it was to go into BI_CONTENT and re-installing the content.

Solution

Before the corresponding support package is available, perform the manual activity described in correction instructions.
