Error in License Check at DR Site

Hi,

I'm having a problem when I switch site from DC site to DR site. I use data guard on Oracle database 10g. But when i switched to DR site, I could not logon by SAPGUI. I got error license. I sent to SAP a new request to get new license from Hardware key which I got from OS by ' saplicense -get', but it is not working .And in Slicense, The Active Hardware key is blank.

My issue is solved. I keep 2 standard licenses key of DC and DR system.

First, I used 'saplicense -get' command for getting Hardware key in DR system and  I requested a new standard key from Sapservice.

Before I switched site to DR system, I had to add license key of DR system.

My failed is that I added license key of DR system after i switched and used DR system.

You just need to install the licenses in the primary system.

The licenses are stored in the database.

If you have installed the license before moving the system to the DR node you just need to make sure that the last archive log has been applied at the standby database.

Hello

You need to install the license keys for both the sites in the systems.

When you move the systems (SAP CI and Oracle) from the prmiary site to the DR site the system should have the license key based on that hardware key.

Get the hardware key from both the sites using the saplicense -get command and apply the licenses.

Remember to select the correct type of license when you request for the license.

Hi,

Please try to  generate the new license for your standby system and apply the license.

See ..Please remember, when ever you are doing switch over or fail over, that time you need to apply the license for your standby server get license from smp..

I deleted old license expried but i still keep standard license of hardware key of DC site. And I added new license of DR site. Few months ago, I could nomally switch site when the mantain license had not expired.

Please delete old licenses in slicense then try to install new license which you got with new hardware key.
