PO with foreign currency

Hello all,

i wanna create a PO with a foreign currency, when i change the currency in the header data to USD, the system copied price from info record and change the amount using exchange rate but i cannot change it manually.

suppose that price in local currency is 10 EGP, using exchange rate system change the price to be 1.6 USD and  make price field dimmed so i cannot change it to be 1.8 for example

how can i enter the price manually or change it in the PO!

Hi,

  As of my knowledge, it wont update info rec. You may test the same.

A PO never updates any price in the info record, the only thing what happens to an existing info record is that the PO number is updated in purchasing org 2 view.

Hi,

   In this case, go to PO - Item Level - conditions tab and change the PB00 value (or req condition type)  manually with currency as USD.

Just go to the PO item detail condition tab and there you can enter the price of your choice. No need to change any master data

You can change the currency directly in header data what you want irrespective it is copied from vendor master data.

Hi Hossam,

Open info record in change mode (ME12) and and click on condition tab> double click on validity periods>select first one row and click on delete row icon and select same condition type and enter amount and currency you required and save info record . Open PO again and change the header currency now you will able to change amount also.

Why not to change price in inforecord? or you want the system update inforecord after your change in PO?

i want to issue this PO only in USD so i don't want to update info record
