Differernce between Connections

Hi I have see this difference in Explorer,, so wanted to know what is difference between a connection to BW that wecreate using Infomration Design tool and Olap Connections from CMC?

JRK is right.. there is technically no difference between the connection created in IDT vs in CMC...

The connection is created in BOE repository in both cases..

If you are seeing any difference check from the query builder if you see any difference in properties for both connections..

There will not be any Differernce between the connection created in IDT and CMC.

What is the difference you have noticed in the explorer?
