Hi Experts,
I am working on BI 7.3. I got an issue in Process chain with Infopackage is getting failed with error message " Info IDocs are missing. The source system is not an SAP system. The IDocs are therefore created in the BW system. Since the IDocs are missing, a short dump probably occurred in the BW system".
As the Source system for this process chain is NON-SAP source system using DB connect and Infopackage is getting failed repetitively with above issue.
Could anyone please do let me know , how to rectify this issue ?
Thanks in advance.
Also please find the screenshot.
Hi Cris,
Check sm58 in BW system to see if idocs are getting processed or not. Once you trigger the info package keep monitoring sm58.
If its a DB database as a source, then there are chances are that the data is not available during that time so we need to wait in that case and then its time runs out giving above error.
Check with the source DB team if the data is available for BW system to be extracted. Then trigger the info package.

Hi,
First i would suggest to narrow down the problem.
1) Check if this issue is with all Datasources for this source system or only one?
2) Check if this issue is with any other source system
3) Test Source system connection
4) Check if any st22 dump
5) Check if any system errors are present
6) Check in source system are there any errors?

Ganesh

Hi
This looks like an issue with your connection to your 3rd party db. Check the connection parameters of the source system.
hope that helps

Hi,
Initially check the connection between BW & source system from where data extraction is happening by going into RSA1---> SOURCE SYSTEM---> select the appropriate system right click & click on the check you will get message in the message bar.
if connection is fine please check if there any idocs are stuck in BD87 tcode.
if you are not familiar about above settings take help from your BASIS team.

Harish
