Error while creating Customer Master Data

Dear Friends,

  While creating Customer Master Data in XD01, at the place of Reconciliation account I am trying enter the A/c no.160000 but I am getting following error “ Entry xxx0000160000 does not exist in SKB1(Check entry)”

Help me resolving the Issue

Hi Manjunath,

This can occur due to 2 reasons:

1: The account which you have created is not as Reconciliation account for that customer.

or

2: The chart of account will be there but it will not be assigned/created for that company code.

Use T.code FS00 and enter the recon. account number in search help if you have already created. Then select that G/L account then go to the control data tab there is a field Recon. account for account type under that select "D" customer for Customer reconciliation account.

Hi Manjunath,

Entered GL account has not been created for your company code. You can check it by yourself in table SKB1(G/L account master company code) by se16n.

Please check it.

Hello,

The error means that GL account is not set up for company code XXXX. You will need to check the account in transaction FS00 for company code XXXX. It should exist there, if not then it needs to be

created.

Can you please check this?

Hi Manjunath,

Check chart of accounts assignment to required company code in OBY6.

if it present then check/extend G/l account in company code using Transaction Code FSP0 and FS00.

Dear

1) The account you entering is not been created in company code 1000.

2) Please enter correct GL account number..May be missing one zero or something,plz press F4 and select proper account number.

3) If you wan A/c no.160000 so first create this account with help of FI guy in FS00 and enter again.
