Hi experts,
I have a BoM of finished product with phantom assemblies.
When we create planned orders for this finished product, the system shows phantom assemblies in the component list, but it can take to errors during production execution in shop floor.
Is there any way to hide these phantom assemblies without affect BoM explosion during MRP?
Thanks in advance.
Marcos
Hi Marcos,
What kind of error did you experience during the shop floor execution?

Hi Julian,
When we print the component list and send to shop floor, the operators don't know what are phantom assemblies or normal components.
I'm trying to change the layout of component list in customizing. So we can show phantom assembly indicator and distinguish from others components.
Do you have any other idea?
Regards,
Marcos
Hi Marcos
You have to add logic in print program on not to consider phantom assembly indicator items in pick list, this can be easily build in print pick list program. check with ABAP consultant on same.
We excluded like this phantom, bulk and back flush indicator materials in one project based on requirement.

Hi,
We are using standard component list of planned order and standard print program.
There is a tcode in customizing that allows to change layout of component list.
This tcode is in MRP menu > planned orders > Define layout of component list.It allows select the fields of layout that are to be printed.
Thanks for help!

Marcos
Hi,
Check the Phantom assemblies indicator in BOM against the Phantom assemblies. If i am not wrong then you need to define in BOM as mandatory irrecspective of MM.
Check and revert.
