Hi friends hope u all doing well.
I got few doubts in loading data in DSO and Infocube.
when u delta loading data from PSA to DSO, by seeing the change log table we can tell that there are few delta load but when u loading delta load from PSA to infocube how can u see the delta changes (because we dont have change log table, have only fact table in infocube).
we can say that there is delta load by seeing request ids and change log table in DSO.
How can u identify the delta load in cube level when u loading from PSA to cube (not through DSO)?
is there any other ways to identify the delta load apart from DTP requests and change log table?
Thank you
Hi,
I can say request level availability only maintained by sap for better performance.
DSO will contain flat file structure, It will maintain data in its tables.
In standard dso case, you will see these 3 table scenario and the same delta records accessible via request. Other dso delta accessible via request.
Cube contain multi dimensional structure, So it can be tracked via request monitor. This also possible until we do compression only.
For this faster access benifits, everything available via request at cue level and mainly useful for reporting than other info providers.
Hope clarifies - Kumar

Hi,
Other than the request number/update type(from cube--> request tab) there is no other way to found about delta records at cube.
at cube level if you have any date or any other info object which can track/hold the changes then we can find it other wise nope.
Thanks

Hi,
I do not think there is any way other than looking at the Request.
Since, The cube does not have the overwrite capability, All the records are essentially are brought into the cube, hence, it is not possible to identify if these are delta records.
