Process XML attached to PDF

Hello,

it is possible to attach files to PDF documents. This is used for example to create invoice PDF files with attached XML documents that can be processed (no OCR needed to get the data out of the PDF).

My question is: Does SAP PI support processing an XML document attached to a PDF file that we receive via e-mail?

Hi Oliver,

I think it could be done. For example, in java mapping you can iterate over your attachments, find your XML file and use/process it (you must checked "Keep Attachments" option in your communication channel).
