Hi Mastan,
CEWB is normally used to mass update BOM or task list(e.g. routing, inspection plan). It is a powerful tool for BOM and routing maintenance which has more functionalities than CS20 and CA85N.

Hi Jimmy and sandeep,
I am new to the cewb and i can do creation and changes of routing through ca01,ca02 only. But when i am doing changes to the existing material routing in ca02. it is throughing as plan has parameter effectivity effectivity use engineering workbench. May i know what is this setting.
Regards,
Mastan.
Hi Mastan,
That's because your client is using Engineering Change Management with parameter effectivity to control routing change. You may find more information about parameter effectivity on SAP help portal. Below is the link for your reference.
