The OLTP Source still has errors

Hello all,

I have a requirement where I have to add field EKGRP (from table EKKO) and field NETWR (from table EKPO) to Data Source 2LIS_02_CGR .I have added these fields  EKGRP (Component Type BKGRP) and field NETWR (Component type BWERT).I have added Reference table EKKO and Ref field as WAERK for NETWR.

After activation of extract structure when I go in to Datasource and trying to unhide the field I get  error "The OLTP Source still has errors".

Please let me know if anyone has gone through this error earlier.

Missed one more point..

The reason why you are getting the error is because of the WEARS field missing in your structure.

Add the WEARS to your append structure and now you will not get the error.

This is how it will looks in you Extract Structure.

Hi Arvind,

the issue is because of the missing reference field in your structure.

Please follow the below steps...

1) MC02M_0CGR --> click on Append Structure

2) Enter the fields as shown below.

Next goto Currency/Quantity Fields tab

Activate the Append structure

3) Now goto RSA6 --> select your data source 2LIS_02_CGR in change mode and unhide the appended fields .

This time you won't be getting any error.

Hi,

Need to enhance extract structure at SE11 by using Append str.

Issue with you reference fields, need to add source tables of reference fields also.

NETWR - its Amount, so you need add currency and that referred table also while enhancing your data source. later try to activate your extract str.

You should use MC02M_0CGR instead of EKKO as this is SAP delivered Datasource which will have extract structure MC02M_0CGR not EKKO...

Hi Bhaskar,

When using  ref table as MC02M_0CGR for WAERK then getting below error :

"Combination reference table/field MC02M_0CGR-WAERKdoesnot exists."

Please check and help on this.

Hi Arvind,

You will still get the error even if you are using the reference table as your Extract structure bcoz of the WEARS field not part of your structure... try to append the WEARS field into your Append structure and give reference table  for NETWR as your Append structure.

You missed my reply... Please proceed as suggested in my post...

I had tried in my system, its working with out any issues with the steps i had posted.

Whats the error message you get when you activate the DS? make sure you have also assigned the necessary currencyunit to NETWR.
