Adapter Instance error in management Console

Hi ,

I want to register adapter in the management console . I have clicked on Adapter Instance in the management console but I am getting the below error .

Job server VENKATA-PC:3500 is not accessible.Connection has been shutdown: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Please restart your job server and make sure Adapter started properly.

I have restarted  but still it is showing same problem. I can execute the jobs using the same job server.

Did you added the Access Server in Management Console under Management section?

I have resolved this issue with the help of SAP support team.  I deleted the data services working cache directory from the tomcat.  We have to make sure no obsolete entries in the repositories.
