How to add Sub Report to Group Footer in Pentaho Report Designer

Hi,

I am Developing PaySlip for organization employee wise.I was stuck with subreport implementaion in group footer.

I need to get subreport following the main report employee wise. If i am putting this sub report in report footer i am getting subreport details at end of all main reports of employees. I need it to be follow the main report employee wise. Please help in getting the solution for this.

Hi Sindhu,

1.Create a group on employee field in sub report

2.keep the sub report in main reports Employee group footer.
3..And then right click on sub report->change sub report links->
select employee group field in available fields of main report and click right arrow.
Then check select data in sub report based on field and

then select employee group filed in sub report.

Now it will show the sub reports data for every employee in main report.

Hi Vissu,

I have understood the first 2 points and created the groups in Main Report and sub report employee wise.

Can you please explain me the 3rd point clearly...i am unable to find change sub report links after right click on sub report.

I think you are using Crytsal reports for eclipse version.if yes then follow this
