Need Help for Maintenance Cycle Phase change restriction

Hi Experts.

I want to restrict IT Operator user to change maintenance cycle phase further from "Go Live" phase in charm.

By which authorization object, I can restrict user to change the maintenance cycle phase further from "Go Live" phase in charm. I have tried with object /TMWFLOW/M and in Phase Value given only till "Go Live". Still user can change maintenance cycle phase further from go live.

Hi Richa ,

Each phase in the maintenance cycle corresponds to the status defined in the status profile for the corresponding transaction type SMMN. So the status "Completed" (which you want to restrict) will have an authorization key .

Make your own authorization key for this status , and assign only to the users who should be able to reach the status "Completed"  for the maintenance cycle . I have never tried this myself , so let me know if this works !

Yes I also found the solution as you have suggested.

I have used following authorization keys to restrict IT Operator user to move maintenance cycle phase further from "Go Live".

Authorization Key : SMMN_00, SMMN_01, SMMN_02, SMMN_03, SMMN_04, SMMN_05

Hi Richa,

Normally project cycle role maintaion in ZSAP_CM_SMAN_CHANGE_MANAGER ( B_USERSTAT) and ZSAP_CM_SMAN_CHANGE_MANAGER(/TMWFLOW/M ) role

So already restrict the user status in /TMWFLOW/M, plz check in the ZSAP_CM_SMAN_CHANGE_MANAGER role and remove the required  below Authorization key in authorization object B_USERSTAT.

SMDV_04

SMDV_05

SMDV_06

SMDV_07

Check the aut code details in spro -> status profile (SMDVHEAD) Project Cycle.

So check and remove the auth key SMDV_06 and SMDV_07.
