SAP NWBC 4.0 issue-User gets wrong work centres and a vague welcome message

Hi I have a user who has logged on to NWBC 4.0 but gets the wrong work centres and a vague welcome message (see below screenshot)

I have checked the users roles assigned and they are correct. If the user logs into NWBC on another computer this message does not come up.

However if someone else logs into NWBC on the user's machine they get the same welcome message.

User has tried reinstalling NWBC 4.0 but still the same.

Has anyone experienced this before and have managed to resolve it?

Please advise.
