Dispute Case XXX: Error removing object XXX (type BSEG) from anchor DISP_RES Message no. FDM_GENERAL100

Hi Experts,

I have few dispute cases that were automatically created through lockbox payment (clearing several invoices). The user assigned reason code and escalation reason to write it off through UDM_AUTOWRTOFF to specific G/L (depending on reason code). But for some reason the cases did not update its status to CLOSED. As the dispute cases were not automatically changing its status to close, the user manually wrote off the disputed items (FB1D) after waiting for few days. Ideally, even if we manually writeoff the dispute case, the system should close the dispute case which is not happening in our case. So both automatic and manual writeoff failed to close the dispute cases.

I ran UDM_PROCESS_BUFFER to check the log and it gave the following error for all dispute cases in question.

Message no. FDM_GENERAL100

What could be the possible solution for this problem?

We run FDM_PROCESS_BUFFER daily so if the dispute cases were locked it should have closed them. We have not changed any config. for Automatic Status Changes. The Reason Code- G/L and Person Resp.- Cost Center settings are maintained. Also, I don't think this is an authorization issue as few dispute cases of the same processor/ person responsible have been automatically closed.
