lo extraction

hi everybody,

first of all thank you very much for all the valuable help.

when doing lo extraction why should we inactivate the extract structure before and activate it later .

    Hi dear,

    when you execute a change and the system is open, delta records are (or better, can be) automatically collected in the meanwhile in delta queue.

    But these records have the layout equal to your old extract structure.

    When you change the extract structure, system will try to collect these records that, having a different 'layout', will lead to an error.

    In other words, the answer to your question is: "Simply because if you change the "container", then you cannot extract a "content" born on the basis of the old "container" through the (different) structure of a new "container".

    hi neelkamal,

    when we are going to add any fields in the extract structure from communication structure we will inactivate the process ,if you didn't do that it will take whatever the previous data availabe in the extract structure.

    if it's helpful assign points ...
