Accessing web dynpro application over internet using reverse proxy

Hello experts,

I am having a web dynpro application which I would like to expose over internet for access.

I have read something about the concept called reverse proxy being facilitated by web dispatcher.

I need a detailed guidance on how to configure it to achieve the same.

Also I want to know the other ways of accessing web dynpro application over internet without opening the port of the production system.

Hi Harsh,

Let's break down your requirement here.

• Requests from the internet should be redirected to the server on which you have developed your web dynpro application and it should be done through web dispatcher
• Response from the server should be sent back through web dispatcher

In order to achieve this, you need to configure your web dispatcher as mentioned in SAP Web Dispatcher - SAP Library document.

Hi,

Check this SAP Help: SAP Library - Web Dynpro for ABAP . You could check with your admin for reverse proxy configuration.
