NWBC 4.0 is slower/lags compared to 3.0

Problems seems to be with the client itself. Once i log into a transaction, its pretty responsive within the transaction(as fast as stand alone GUI)

Lag occurs when typing into the search box , the letters lag (about 2 second lag)

or click on a tab or carry out some actions related to the client itselt.

any ideas? I have turned off most of the features in settings-> personalize but doesn't make any difference.

We have slow PCs to begin with but 3.5 wasnt this laggy.

Hello Juan,

You can check the following:

Typing into the searchbox depends on how big the standard SAP menu is in your system - when starting to type something in to the quicklaunch bar, a searching is started automatically in the background also in the SAP menu structure - you can check what kind of searches are happening if you check what kind of search providers are checked.

For the other parts, can you give a closer example?

I am going to focus on other thing right now instead of performance issues. Most of the performance issues i am experiencing are most likely related to  hardware issues.

I have other post. Maybe you can help me with this question.
